Traveling At The Speed of Life

I’d like to think I could wake up every
morning with a smile on my face,
That I could go off to work and feel like
I’m worth more than my pay.
Anytime I can, I like to do something
good for somebody else,
But there’s days when it’s all I can
handle just keeping up with myself.

It ain’t always easy,
Traveling at the speed of life.
It doesn’t always please me,
Traveling at the speed of life,
And I don’t always understand
But, I try to do the best I can.
Hoping that I get it right

It gives me peace to believe that my
life is part of some bigger plan
Cause most of the time, it feels like it’s all out of my hands
Seems like me and everybody I know just goes around
Either wishing time would speed up
or wishing time would slow down
