The Muscular Dystrophy Association Summer Camps
Camp gives a kid with a neuromuscular disease a lifetime of memories.
There are two volunteer counselors for every child, so this means that thousands of adults volunteer a week of their time every summer to make the camps possible. Many of them are firefighters, who also use their “Fill the Boot” campaign to raise enough money so that each child who wants to go is able to go.
Thank you to the MDA camp staff members and volunteers. You make the world a better place.
The cost to send a kid to MDA camp is $525. Our goal is for the Caterpillar Society to send 3 kids to camp this year.
